1. Membership

Military Members: All military members are welcome without a tryout period. They will be distinguished among the other members with special tags in the forums.

XBOX360: All members will complete a small tryout period to assess maturity. This process will take as long as the recruit makes it. The more you play with the clan, the sooner we can accept you. You must be 16 years of age, and have a fully operating mic. Once accepted into the clan you have 10 days to add KO in the front of your name...KO XxRAISTxX for example. This is a requirement of the 360 section only and has been maintained for 5 years. It is our badge of honor and a way to bring in recruits.

PS3: All members will complete a small tryout period to assess maturity.
This process will take as long as the recruit makes it. The more you
play with the clan, the sooner we can accept you. You must be 18 years
of age, and have a fully operating mic. Once accepted into the clan you
have 10 days to add all KO members to your friends list.

International:

All players must be 18 years of age. All members of KO Int'l must reside outside of the US & Canada. All members must play at least 1 to 2 hours per week with gbbrads or veke6969 - I am on generally 4 hours a day everyday. New Recruits will be required to earn their tags as with the process for all KO recruits - Int'l tags can be issued by KO gbbrads & KO veke6969, Other members who have gamed with recruits with be asked for their recommendations as well in this process. All members must use a headset to communicate and use it effectively, If you do not have a headset within a month of joining KO Int'l you will be banned. KO Int'l official practice will be determined based upon its first new recruits - dependant on time zones due to the vast difference in area's. Clan members should show proper game etiquette at all times. They should always portray excellent sportsmanship in their online gaming. Remember, every loss is a lesson, which may help you learn "not" to lose, in the future. Cheating WILL be grounds for immediate banning from the clan. We will NOT tolerate it. Clan tags will be worn at ALL times when playing on [KO] NO EXCEPTIONS - We do not expect you to change your clan tag to make your friends happy - you chose to be part of KO wear your tags with pride.

2. Recruitment

Anyone may help in recruitment. Bring in friends and family. All you have to do is have them fill out the application and register. After that, a KO admin will process his application and assign an older member to assist with getting him started. We will be looking to max out recruitment at 20 members for each section, once that is reached recruitment will be closed. We are looking to be a tight knit gaming family, where we all know each other and can have great fun and competition. So we will not become a huge mangled unit where gamers feel like they are just a number.

After you fill out the application, contact your section leader, and made your introductory post; you will be in a 10 day trial period to earn your tags. If you do not play enough with your section leader and do not receive the KO tags, you will have to re-apply after a 14 day waiting period. After your second application you have 3 days to play with your section leader to earn your KO tags. If you do not make yourself available to your leaders during those final 3 days, you will be considered not interested and will be blacklisted from joining for 3 months.

3. Recruit Reminders

Recruits are not allowed to have signatures made for them by KO staff. Once you place your KO tags in your GT you can request a signature. You must take the time and add everyone in your specific game to your friends list. What admins say is not up for argument, we represent KO; if you go against us you go against KO. Recruits cannot earn KO achievements. The only thing a recruit should be concentrating on is making themselves available for tryouts with the section leader or admins. Recruits if you do not get an intro up within the two days you have been here you will be gone, we are not going to keep reminding you to make a introduction post.
**Recruits: If we dont hear from you, and you have an intro post or not you will be gone.

4. Clan Discipline

In KO we do not allow any racial, sexual, or religious discrimination during our matches or practices. That kind of talk is unacceptable, immature and will not be tolerated within the KO clan structure in any means. LEAVE IT ON THE FIELD! No trash talking other teams during the lobbies unless extremely provoked. Users will be warned once, then subject to the disciplinary process. If an senior member in the clan reports of junior members of being belligerent, disrespectful to leadership, or KO standards; the accused will be subject to the disciplinary process. We will not allow the basis of mature gaming to be broken. KO also does not tolerate glitching, lagging and cheating. Once caught you are subject to the disciplinary process.

Instant Removal From KO: Intentional clan betrayal, blatant disrespect, conspiring in illegal activities, refusal to respond to leadership, lack of participation of KO activities and website. If you are in two clans you will need to choose one or the other. We do not allow you to be in multiple clans.

5. Leadership

The Known Outlaws will be ran by one clan leader: KO XxRAISTxX. The two Co-Leaders are KO 0T2BWORKING and KO Tatsuke300. There are open positions for section leaders and team leaders. Members who are interested in leadership needs to apply with a clan leader or captain. If you are part of the clan staff for a period of time, you will be rewarded with t-shirts, xp point cards, and other KO merchandise. There is a contact link on the main page where regular members can contact leaders if there is a problem or concern. This contact page may also be used if you have a better idea to run things that may assist leadership. This is your clan too, any help is appreciated and the door is always open.

6. KO RANK

Your rank in clan is determined by time served, posts, what you contribute, leading teams, helping with artwork....etc. You can also earn KO awards. Also, we will be having a KO member of the month of which the winner receives a $10 best buy gift card.

7. FORUM USAGE

KO now has forum usage rules. Forum usage gauges the activity of members and allows for the clan to learn the KO clan strategies. We are now using map call outs to the extreme. This info is placed inside the forums, therefore you must contribute. We have a post minimum of 1 posts a week, if you do not post 1 time for the week you will be considered uninterested in KO and removed from the clan. If you are taking a leave of absence, please inform the clan so your posts will not be counted for the month.

8. GAMES

Members will claim their MAIN game. This is the game that is their specialty. Members are REQUIRED to keep up with map packs on that game alone. KO members are REQUIRED to know the call outs and strategies associated with their MAIN game. Lobbies will not cater to one individual without their map packs or strategy knowledge. You will be asked to leave lobbies so others can play ALL the maps, or use the strategy properly. You joined a gaming clan to play games to the fullest, complaints will not be heard if YOU cannot keep up with the team. Players of KO not playing together will not be tolerated. If you and another KO member are in different lobbies you will be approached by leadership. If you do not respond to leadership, you will be placed on probation until you answer why you are not playing with your fellow clan member. You will be given 3 hours to do so or you will be removed from the clan. Why would you join us not to play with us?

9. KO CREED

In KO we do not promote individualism. We promote FAMILY, BROTHERHOOD,
and RESPECT. Along with our honorable play style, we have been able to
keep the KO brand going for 6 years now. With the discipline of
following strategy and following our leaders, we have won championships.
These champion teams, and these GB ladder winning teams didn't win on
individual kill counts, they won by HONORING each other and the KO tag.
We won because we were friends, and we were unselfish. We won because
we all striven for the big "W" at the end of the match. We didn't use
terms as "kill stealing", KDR, or using words like "I". We did it all
for each other, and were happy to have helped our brothers gain victory.
