I guess we take the last shot… Wed, 11 Jan 2012 19:12:13 -0500 http://joinko.enjin.com/home/article/518477/m/539854 http://joinko.enjin.com/home/article/518477/m/539854 The Known Outlaws have been pushing recruitment to an all new level.  We have teams that are in different stages of life, but ready to fight none the less.  Battlefield seems to be doing the best with The Four Horsemen leading the deathly charge.  The GOW team has decided to just go for it and start GB-ing this weekend.  Anyone can join this team for right now, we will weed out the weak soon enough.  Secret Santa went off without a hitch.  The last of the gifts has been sent…..wonder what Kit will get?  In the coming week we have one more new year meeting.  After that we have the STATE OF KO ADDRESS.  New rule changes will be posted and player evaluations will be conducted.  With 20 new members to brag about, 2012 is starting off awesomely.  The PS3 side has taken on 3 more members and we are looking for more.  Leadership positions are completely open for PS3, so if you have what it takes to run a section and recruit your own teams let us know!!  You can lead your own group unabated; we in KO believe and trust in our community to do the best that they can and will not get in your way.  The site is rockin with over 100+new hits a day….the only question is….who is going to be KO’s OFFICIAL Team in 2 years?  Is that you Horsemen?

Halo has found its war grounds. They are going to be doing 2v2's until another player is tired of pubs then possibly 3v3's. There attitudes are changing and rather quickly. They want war, they want blood. Hearing this call BO has gone into getting something going as well with 2v2's. It seems a spark has started and the drums are bounding hard once more to get something done. The call for blood is roaring in their ears! But the most blood that will be spilled is in GOW! GOW is fast moving, take no shit attitude that will get them far! Find WAR and let not the first match be your last! 

Where do you stand? Do you fight for your team? Find your place, fight for it. I hope to see a lot more on the battle field and owning the KO tags. Where KO with pride out to battle. Show them what KO has to offer!

The Known Outlaws roster is closed for anyone who does NOT want to compete.  So only apply if you are ready to take that next step into the gaming world.  We play with strategy, and we have 10 disciplines we follow in every game.  That is what it takes to win anyways.....straight up hardcore discipline.  Halo team 2 has been dissolved by leadership and is now known as "Alpha-Bravo."  They are second to none, and are only 2 weeks out of warring.  Hopefully, our ever faithful Halo nuts, Mach and Drizzy can meet their own team members calls to battle.  We've been training long enough....lets see what we got KO!  GOW fanatics are back.  I am leading basic strategy rooms that anyone can signup for.  I am teaching map flow, team movement, and over all team loyalty.  A team must learn to let go of the individual, and use their brothers in arms to win.  That is what is being learned in my lobbies.  Come on in and have some fun.  Lastly KO Hells has won the Halo Treasure Hunt.....have fun spending those 3200 microsoft points!  The next competition will be announced soon, I believe it is a 2v2 total Warfare challenge.  All three games battled out between two man teams!  The season will be announced shortly!  Have fun KO, turn around every 3 seconds, and remember....EVERY MATCH IS A CLAN MATCH!!

We aren't stopping until blood starts flowing once again through the KO war machine's veins again.  All ranks within KO have been updated, so see if you earned your next rank up!  We also have meritoriously promoted KO Wicked one extra rank for his in game skill.  KO HellonWheels has also received a meritorious promotion for his steady KO service and his outstanding dedication to take KO into the future!  Both are examples of what a KO member should be, and we as admins are proud to fight along side them.  Ranks will be raised shortly for these two!  Next on the list is the newfound GOW crew.  We need to start getting on just a tad bit more for training on the basics.  Near and far are key, and it was invented by KO.  When it is implemented, we cannot be stopped.  KO Joker and KO Evasion, its on you two to bring this in.  KO Antihero, your long range techniques should be taught or trained with at least two new players so we can have some more long range support in GOW3.  Upcoming events for KO:  Admin nights Mondays and Thursdays for recruitment.....Practices for Halo and BO throughout the week, so check the calendar.  The KO SEARCH AND DESTROY TEAM is having signups.  Only those with the BO competitive spirit need apply.  As always If you ain't KO, You ain't shit!

Team Leaders start setting up practices and scrims/battles.  Look for potential recruits after each match and send them our contact information. Section Leaders, start looking for tourneys, scrims and battles and book/schedule them.  Look in on your teams to ensure they are ready to go.  If not, what are you going to do to effect change?  These ancillary duties are part of the job.  In the words of that great super hero, Henry Cabot Henhouse III, who so eloquently stated, "You knew the job was dangerous when you took it, Fred!"
Come back safe and refreshed and let's resume the KO attitude.  This is the kickoff to our strongest point in the season, Summer.  No school, no homework, no whining, no excuses.

Current status from the various teams indicate that practices are being held but not with the same members or frequency.
Leadership is going to start posting in-house competitions to get the ball rolling and get our team skills up to where they should have been a while ago.
Perhaps the end of school will free up a lot of you to become more engaged in KO activities.
I am personally shocked that out of 35-40 members, only 12 signed up to participate in the in-house Warthog battle.
